Welcome to the Department of ECE at SKCET. We prepare our graduates for their successful careers with the current technological trends including technical, critical thinking and communicational skills in a diverse range of Electronics and Communication Engineering field. We have an untiring and dedicated faculty members with sound knowledge to guide and train our students.
Department Activities
Department Association was established on 4th March 2015 in ETEA(Electronics Telecommunication Engineers Association).
Department conducted a training on “Testing of Electronic Devices” on 30th July 2015.
Department conducted a symposium on 10th and 11th of February 2016.
Department is to conduct National level conference shortly.

HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT
Mrs.G. Rekka, B.Tech., M.Tech.,
Mrs. G.Rekka, has joined in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in our Institution as Assistant Professor in the year of 2018 and currently leading the Department. She completed her Master of Engineering in Christ Institute of Technology, Pondicherry University in 2014 and Bachelor of Engineering in Sri Jayaram Engineering College, Anna University in 2006.Her area of interest includes Electronic Devices and Circuits, Digital Communication, Communication Engineering and Data Communication Networks.
She published 3 papers in International Journals . She also attended 2 FDPs and 2 workshops. She holds 5.5 years of experience in teaching and two years in Industry. During her 5.5 years of journey she has responsibilities such as Class Counsellor, Class Incharge, Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell Incharge, Head of the Department and many more.
