The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was recognized in September 5th 2012 with an intake of 60 seats. It offers under graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and it is built with an outstanding infrastructure and program that planned the youth to face the promising challenges both in the field of Electrical & Electronics. The Department is fully equipped with lab facilities to guide the students to meet the Industrial needs based on the revised curriculum.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering regulation is multi-disciplinary in nature, representing a genuine synergy of different technologies. To meet the challenges of the innovative millennium, we guide our students in the areas like Fuzzy Logic, Finite Element Analysis, Computer Aided Design of Electrical Machines, Micro-controllers and Digital Signal Processing, Generation, Transmission and Distribution

The Department is considered as an exclusive centre for endorsement of quality in Electrical Engineering and has been effectively satisfying its functionality in the rocketing technologies era.

The faculty members have the diligent for contributing research papers to International journals like IEEE, Elsevier and Springer etc.,

DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES

The basic objectives of our Department are to transmit, build and apply knowledge so that:

To establish centre of excellence in the thrust areas of Electrical Engineering

To provide Research and Development consultancy by promoting contact services to Industries, Government and Civic Organizations.

Other than the Academic Curriculum, the Department also engages with Regular Industrial Visits and In-plant Training for students to gain Industrial exposure.

Ms.V. Vanisree, B.Tech., M.Tech.,

Ms.V.Vanisree has joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in our Institution. She has completed her Master of Technology in Electrical Drives and Control from Pondicherry Engineering College under Pondicherry University in the year 2016 and Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Acharya College of Engineering and Technology under Pondicherry University in the year 2014. Her area of interest includes Electrical Machines, Control System, Transmission and Distribution.
