Computer Science and engineering deals with design, implementation, management of information system of both software and hardware processes. CSE shares the mission and vision of the institute in imparting high quality education to the students. First, it is ensured that the student perceives the computer fundamentals thoroughly. Besides fulfilling the requirements of the syllabus prescribed by the University, the program offers students the opportunity to work on diverse hardware and software platforms. The Department was started with an intake of 60 seats in 2012. The Department is well equipped with 150 Computer Systems with latest configuration. The lab is fully connected with Internet Facility and centralized AC. The Department organizes Seminars and soft skill programs to improve the Technical Skills of the students, so that they can face global competition.

It is worthwhile to note that the computer industry has witnessed such phenomenal growth in recent years that IT majors like Infosys & TCS have been the major recruiters across all other branches throughout the engineering colleges in the country.

The Department offers excellent training in computer programming with open source software and has excellent lab facilities for Multimedia, Internet and Web Designing.

High speed Internet facility with 8 Mbps is available.

HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT

Mr. D. Muthuraman, B.E., M.Tech.,

Mr. D. Muthuraman has joined our Institution in the year 2015. He has completed his PG in the Stream of Computer Science and Engineering at MS University in the year 2011. He received his B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IFET College of Engineering under Anna University in 2007. His area of interest includes Computer Network, IoT, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, etc. He has also participated and attended various Seminars and Workshops at National Level. He holds 8 years of experience in Teaching and 2 years in Industry. During this journey, he held responsibilities such as Head of the Department (CSE), P. G. Coordinator, Exam Cell Coordinator and Overall Academic Coordinator.
